Some chapters will have sections that are labelled ‘Advanced’; these are not essential but may be useful once you are happy with the basics.

• External Examiners

  External Examiners are users external to the University who form a key part of the University’s quality assurance and enhancement mechanisms. There are two main types:

  • Undergraduate external examiners,
  • Postgraduate external examiners.
